HI FRIENDS :) I  wanna talk about EDX certificate program. This term , our lecturer Tuncer Can ask for any certificate which we can take via  EDX, COURSERA , UDEMY . I chose Edx certificate program then I decided to take Spanish course which last seven weeks. This kind of certificate programs are really informative and also exciting. You can take them whenever you want . Also these courses are given by prestigious universities like  Cambridge , Harvard , Berkeley University of California,Boston University, Massachusetts Institute of technology etc. After I had starting to get course ,I couldn't stop myself and I took the second one which is related to literature:)  It was John Milton:Paradise Lost . Actually the language of the course is a little bit complicated but I like it . If you really interested in different topics (gardening, language ,theater, art, science ,religion etc.), you will definitely find a suitable for yourself and also at the end of the course you can get a

HI FRIENDS OVER AND OVER AGAIN:) Today we mentioned in our instructional material design lesson about GAMIFICATION . I believe that it ıs one of the milestone in education. Firstly what is gamification ?How it works? Gamification is  ‘’the use of game mechanics and experience design to digitally engage and motivate people to achieve their goals”. This is an interesting definition. It covers structural gamification and content gamification (‘experience design’) and highlights the importance of engagement and driving motivation. In a nutshell, it gives chance to people get engage with virtual and game zones. Of course it has some disadvantages that depends on the preference of users. For instance ; if you play the games which include violence ,it is possible that you 'll be affected by contents BUT Gaming researches stated that the users who play violence games can have more inclination than other users who do not play it .The result  shows that it is  just  %9 that affects

HEYY EVERYONE ! Today I tried a different application which is named as Second life .It is   the three-dimensional virtual world  where users, called  residents , can preten­d to be whomever  or whatever they want to be. Although it's an online environment, its influence reaches into the real world  including a virtual economy that's dependent upon actual money . In reality, or perhaps virtual reality, Second Life is a complex environment filled with potential risks and rewards.But it really gives the sense of reality . So you can create your own avatars and you may disguise as  whoever you want. Also I created my avatar in second life although she doesn't look like me again:) 💁

HI FRIENDS:) Today I wanna talk about another useful application for teaching language. It is Flipgrid which is  a social learning platform that allows educators to ask a question, then the students respond in a video. Students are then able to respond to one another, creating a “web” of discussion. So our lecturer gave us a group code to record our videos . we introduce ourselves and talk about our favorite classroom activities. HI Friends:) Today I m gonna tell you about amazing Mindmeister instructional tool. It is an online mind mapping application that allows its users to visualize, share and present their thoughts via the cloud.You can use it for your basic topic introductions. HI everyone! Today I created a presentation by using Nearpod. It is very practical.It  is a student engagement platform that can be used to amazing effect in the classroom. The concept is simple. A teacher can create presentations that can contain Quiz's, polls, videos, images, drawing-boards, web content and so on.Further,I made a slide for 7th grade students about third unit 'world heritage'. I hope that I can use this presentation as a warm-up activity in the classroom. Actually It can be used for improving different language skills such as reading video captions , listening speech texts, writing about significance or ideas about world heritage sites and discussing about why world heritage sites at risk. HI FRIENDS :) I discovered another useful application which is named as Canva. It's quite simple . It uses a drag-and-drop format and provides access to over a million photographs, graphics, and fonts. It is used by non-designers as well as professionals. The tools can be used for both web and print media design and graphics. Pixton has also a growing community that anyone can access to contribute with their own comics. This tool is very easy to use and does not require any artistic skills to work on it.
