GAMIFICATION

HI FRIENDS OVER AND OVER AGAIN:)
Today we mentioned in our instructional material design lesson about GAMIFICATION . I believe that it ıs one of the milestone in education. Firstly what is gamification ?How it works?

Gamification is ‘’the use of game mechanics and experience design to digitally engage and motivate people to achieve their goals”.
This is an interesting definition. It covers structural gamification and content gamification (‘experience design’) and highlights the importance of engagement and driving motivation. In a nutshell, it gives chance to people get engage with virtual and game zones. Of course it has some disadvantages that depends on the preference of users. For instance ; if you play the games which include violence ,it is possible that you 'll be affected by contents BUT Gaming researches stated that the users who play violence games can have more inclination than other users who do not play it .The result  shows that it is  just  %9 that affects the the violent players to behave more aggressive than others. So it is not a hih percentage . We may supposed that aggressive behaviors of users may noy only stem from content, They may also stem from user's life or their personality.
Furthermore I play a game which can be relate to this topic. It is Farmville.FarmVille is an agriculture-simulation social network game developed and published by Zynga in 2009. ... The game is free-to-play; however, to progress quickly within the game, players are encouraged to spend Farm Cash  or Farm Bucks (in FarmVille 2), which are purchasable with real-world currency. It is really funny and and can be informative for language learners. For example, they can learn farm utilities and farm animals and how gain money from the farm which thye created.BUT I can suggest this app  for beginner language learner because it can be easy for advance learners .Also you can discover amazing games which teach language and create a new world for you:)
